Jim and Tisha-- Part 1

This shoot with Jim and Tisha was so much fun and we aren't even done yet. We had a few different locations planned for Tisha and Jim's photos, and we didn't make it to one of them. So, keep checking back in the next few weeks to see part 2 of the shoot, which I'm very excited about. Anyways, We had so much fun shooting with them last Saturday. They completely obliged to any crazy idea Austin and I had. And now... onto the pics...

We started off at the railroad tracks...

Happy Valentines Day!

I love Valentines day, and thats because I'm a sappy kind of girl that loves LOVE. This is why I love photographing weddings and couples. I love it when a couple looks at each other in a manner that allows me to see the way that they feel about each other.

So, for this valentines day, we had quite a busy day. We started off the day with a really fun shoot with Tisha and Jim (photos to come this week) and then Austin and I put together some homemade gifts for our moms and my sister. Since candy and cards is what everyone else does, we decided to create some fruit arrangements. Yes, we actually made these! It was so much fun, but sure was a lot of work. My mom loved her arrangement so it was totally worth the time and effort to do something special.

Philly Shoot with some friends

I had a different shoot planned for Saturday with Tisha and Jim, but unfortunately Tisha got food poisoning and we had to postpone. So, at the last minute I went along with some other photographers to Fishtown Philadelphia for a model shoot taking place just for fun. The models that I worked with were Rachel and Claire. The most exciting part of this shoot was that Rachel is actually one of my June brides. It was so much fun to shoot with her, and I can't wait for her wedding. These two girls are so gorgeous that they can't take a bad photo. It was great to get together with some other photographers, meet some new people, and just enjoy what we love to do!

Snow Day!!!

Austin and I took Lola for a walk in the snow. Our little dog acted like a complete nut in the snow, and it was hard to take pictures of her because I was laughing so hard. Austin and I took a few photos of each other just for fun too. I am not a fan of the cold, but how can you not love snow? And.... snow glitters!

A letter from the past... Written to Myself, from Myself

The strangest thing happened when I stopped over my mom's house to give her a Canvas print. She handed me a letter than was addressed to me and the return address was from my highschool. The strangest part of the letter is that it looked like my handwriting. Well, thats because it was. Apparently, during my senior year of highschool (9 years ago) we wrote letters to ourselves which included a list of goals to be accomplished over the next ten years. Next year will be ten years, so I suppose my highschool sent them out to give the graduates of the class of 2000 another year to make their highschool dreams come true. This letter caught me totally off-guard, but it was a glimpse into the person I was at that time. I'm also surprised that I met as many of the goals as I did without ever remembering that the list even existed...

And... here is the letter:

Dear Issy,
Well, I'm a senior now and its been a great year. I managed to work really hard hours and still keep my grades up. Amy and I are still best friends and I hope we stay that way. I'm so excited for college. I can't wait to go. The prom was so much fun. The senior trip was awesome too. I had so much fun with Nina and the Dillella's. I think that Dink and Amy are going to miss me the most. It is going to be really hard for my mom because she is so overprotective. Remember to never give up. Never forget all of the fun times. I am ready to take the next step in my life. I think my family is proud of my accomplishments. Stay strong, and don't ever give up.
Love, Issy

And now the list that I wrote in highscool.... I will mark off which ones I have actually accomplished:

New Business Cards have arrived

It doesn't take much to make me excited. For example, when I get home and there is a package waiting for me.. That is always exciting. The most recent package was my new business cards. Guess what, they are pink... Hard to believe huh?
