Amanda and Jim- Trash the Dress "TTD"

I am so excited to post these pictures. Austin and I had soooo much fun with Amanda and Jim this past Sunday at the Ocean City Boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ for their Trash the Dress session. Amanda and Jim gave us complete creative freedom, and they were up for any idea I had. This session was so much fun, I really could not wait to get home and start editing them. Creative freedom also meant that I got to play with my new toys including off camera lighting and my new lensbaby that Austin bought me for my birthday.

For those of you who don't know what a Trash the Dress session is, this is a chance for you to get back into that gorgeous wedding gown of yours and head out to take some photos in it without worrying about it getting dirty. I have to say that Trash the Dress sessions might be my favorite thing to shoot, because we can relax, have some fun, and shoot some photos. So, I'm going to warn you.... I had A LOT of favorites from this session so there are going to be a lot of photos..... enjoy...

Just for fun.. Austin's turn and a sneak peek

If you have been following my blog for a while you probably have seen This post where I showed a photo of myself in the background with a big goofy smile talking about how much I love photographing couples. Well, It looks like the tables have turned. Tonight while I was editing Amanda and Jim's Trash the Dress photos, (stay tuned this week for more photos from their session), I found this lovely photo with Austin in the background with, yup thats right.... a big goofy smile on his face. He is going to kick my a** when he sees this post tomorrow. (He's asleep on the couch with Lola right now), but it was too funny not to share.

Debbie and Alan-Married Williamstown, NJ

Debbie and Alan got hitched on Friday at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Williamstown, NJ. The sun was shining all day, and the weather was perfect for a great summer wedding. The inside of the Church was gorgeous and had a huge mural on the ceiling. I love being inside pretty churches. After the wedding we went over to the reception at Masso's Knights on Columbus in Williamstown. Austin and I had a great time shooting this wedding for such a fun couple.

Debbie and Alan- Engaged

Last Sunday Austin and I met up with Alan and Debbie at the Washington Lake Park in Washington Township, NJ to take some engagment pictures of the couple. Debbie and Alan were troopers bearing with the high heat and humidity, but it didn't stop us from having a good time. Don't these two have the best smiles? We had a great time shooting with them, and it was nice to be around a couple that really enjoys each other's company. Debbie and Alan both wore their Phillies gear, and Austin and I love having some other Phillies fans around! We took advantage of the baseball field at the park, and we even had Alan's sister bring their puppy up to the field to be in some of the shots. Debbie and Alan's wedding is this Friday and we can't wait to see them again.

Alison and John-Married

Alison and John were married on a beautiful summer day July 18th at the Church of the Incarnation in Mantua, NJ. The reception was held at Auletto's in Deptford, NJ. Austin and I were so excited to shoot this wedding ever since we shot their engagement pictures a few months back. The wedding day was perfect, and everything ran smoothly. These two are so sweet together, and are fortunate to be surronded wonderful families. Aulettos had so many great places to take pictures and Ali and John gave us plenty of time to get some pictures of them and their bridal party. Ali is a first grade teacher, and she invited her students to her wedding ceremony. The kids were so cute, and they were so proud of their teacher. Once we got to the reception, the party got rolling right away. The dance floor was packed all night, and even during the last song of the night, there wasnt a spot left on the dance floor. Being around this couple and their family made me realize once again why I love shooting weddings! Here are a few of my favorites of the day:

At this point in the ceremony the priest had them turn away from each other. He proceeded with talking about what marriage means and ended it with "With everyone in this church as witness, we hope this is the last time you ever turn your back on each other"
How cute is that? I'm a sappy chic.... so I teared up... just a bit
